Collection of statistical data

Electricfil Service measures, for information purposes and among other indicators, the number of pages seen, the number of visits and the navigation of the visitors on the website, in order to improve the latter’s performance. To this end, the log files issued and stored on its server are used for statistical analysis of the website.

The log files – kept for a maximum of 13 months – keep track of the Internet user’s IP address and their browsing habits.

Intellectual property rights

Electricfil Service has created this site for the personal information of its users. No commercial use, even partial, of the data presented on this site may be made without the prior written consent of Electricfil Service.

The presentation and the content of the present site, constitute together, a work protected by the laws in force on the intellectual property, of which Electricfil Service is holder. No reproduction and/or representation, in part or in whole, may be made without the prior written consent of Electricfil Service.

The names EFI, EFIS, EFI Service are common names shared with our customers and partners. The denominations EFI Automotive, EFI Automotive Service, Electricfil Service, the logos, as well as the slogans, are, except particular indication, trade marks registered by Electricfil S.A. Any reproduction, use and/or modification which would be made without the prior agreement and writing of Electricfil S.A. is likely to constitute the counterfeit of it.

The drawings, photographs, images, texts, animated sequences with or without sound, and other documentation represented on this website are subject to industrial and/or intellectual property rights and are, as the case may be, the property of Electricfil Service or of third parties who have given Electricfil Service limited permission to use them.

As such, any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, and/or transformation, in part or in full, or transfer to another site is prohibited.

ARTICLE 1: PREAMBLE

This confidentiality policy applies to the site: www.efi-service.com.

The purpose of this confidentiality policy is to inform users of the:

ARTICLE 3: PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED WHEN BROWSING THE SITE

A. DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED AND METHOD OF COLLECTION

The personal data collected on the www.efi-service.com website is as follows: first names, surnames, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address and location.

This data is collected when the user uses the form to contact the company.

The data controller will keep all the data collected on the site’s computer systems under reasonable security conditions for a period of: 2 years.

Data is collected and processed for the following purposes: applications/recruitment and requests for information.

The storage periods for personal data collected for the above-mentioned purposes are strictly limited and comply with the principle of data minimisation.

Recruitment:

Data collected includes: surname, first name, country, e-mail address, telephone number, message, resume, cover letter, etc.

Information is kept for the duration of the hiring decision, then 3 months for answers to your questions in the event of non-recruitment. With your consent, data is kept for 2 years for CV-library purposes.

Data is collected and processed for the following purposes: applications/recruitment and requests for information.

The retention periods for personal data collected for the above-mentioned purposes are strictly limited and comply with the principle of data minimization.

B. TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

The personal data collected by the site are not transmitted to any third party and are only processed by the editor of the site.

In any event, Electricfil Service undertakes to respect the confidentiality of information communicated by visitors to the site. No trade is made of the information given by visitors to third parties.

In order to respond to your requests, your personal data may be transferred to Group subsidiaries outside France. These subsidiaries comply with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and European Directive 97/66/EC. The other information requested, for which the answer is optional, is intended to get to know you better and to improve the services offered to you.

This information may also be used by Electricfil Service for marketing or commercial campaigns, research or studies.

A. THE DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller is: Electricfil Service represented by Mrs. Béatrice SCHMIDT, legal representative of Electricfil S.A. and President of Electricfil Service.

The information collected is subject to computer processing based on the company’s legitimate interest in responding to requests sent via its contact form. Only the information marked with an asterisk is compulsory, the others allowing us to speed up the processing of your request.

The recipient of the data is the Electricfil Service communication department (efis@efiautomotive.com).

B. OBLIGATIONS OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller undertakes to protect the personal data collected, not to pass it on to third parties without the user’s knowledge and to respect the purposes for which the data was collected.

In addition, the data controller undertakes to notify the user in the event of rectification or deletion of the data, unless this would entail disproportionate formalities, costs and steps for the user.

In the event that the integrity, confidentiality or security of the user’s personal data is compromised, the data controller undertakes to inform the user by any means necessary.

ARTICLE 5: USER RIGHTS

In accordance with the regulations concerning the processing of personal data, the user has the rights listed below.

In order for the data controller to comply with the user’s request, the user must provide the following information: first name, surname and e-mail address.

The data controller is obliged to respond to the user within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days.

You may exercise your rights of access, deletion, opposition, rectification and limitation of processing.

If you feel that your rights have not been respected, you may refer the matter to the supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

A. PRESENTATION OF USER RIGHTS WITH REGARD TO DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

a. Right of access, rectification and deletion

Users may view, update, modify or request the deletion of data concerning them, by following the procedure set out below: users must send an e-mail to the person responsible for processing personal data, specifying the subject of their request and using the contact e-mail address provided above.

b. Right to data portability

Users have the right to request the portability of their personal data held by the site to another site, in accordance with the following procedure: users must make a request for the portability of their personal data to the data controller, by sending an e-mail to the above address.

c. Right to limit and object to data processing

The user has the right to request the limitation of or to object to the processing of his/her data by the site, without the site being able to refuse, unless it can demonstrate the existence of legitimate and overriding reasons, which may override the interests and rights and freedoms of the user.

In order to request the limitation of the processing of his/her data or to formulate an objection to the processing of his/her data, the user must follow the following procedure: the user must make a request for the limitation of the processing of his/her personal data to the data controller, by sending an e-mail to the address provided above.

d. The right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on an automated process

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation 2016/679, the user has the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on an automated process if the decision produces legal effects concerning him or her, or significantly affects him or her in a similar way.

e. Right to determine the fate of data after death

Users are reminded that they can organise what is to become of their data collected and processed if they die, in accordance with law no. 2016-1321 of 7 October 2016.

f. Right to refer a matter to the competent supervisory authority

If the data controller decides not to respond to the user’s request, and the user wishes to contest this decision, or if he/she believes that one of the rights listed above has been infringed, he/she is entitled to refer the matter to the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, https://www.cnil.fr) or to any competent court.

B. PERSONAL DATA OF MINORS

In accordance with the provisions of Article 8 of European Regulation 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act, only minors aged 15 or over may consent to the processing of their personal data.

If the user is a minor under the age of 15, the consent of a legal representative will be required in order for personal data to be collected and processed.

The site editor reserves the right to verify by any means that the user is over 15 years of age, or that he/she has obtained the consent of a legal representative before browsing the site.
